As I mentioned in my previous post, I’m posting twice in one night because I was way too tired when I got home last night to post about yesterday’s shennanigans. Today was a pretty ordinary day. Today was my first day back at my old office job and it really feels like I never left at all. My hours are 8:30-5, so I had to get up and have breakfast pretty early. I had 1 cup of Kashi Oat Flakes and Wild Blueberry Clusters with 1/3 cup of skim milk and a banana. Very simple–it was early. The cereal was ok but I think I’ll opt for one with less sugar next time. It has 13 grams of sugar in 1 serving. I usually pick cereals with less than 9 grams of sugar but I had to try this one because it had blueberries in it.


On my way to work, I stopped at Dunkin Donuts and got a medium unsweetened iced tea with lemon. I added one sugar packet to it. I love iced tea. For my mid-morning snack, I had a 100 calorie pack of almonds. For lunch, I made myself a turkey sandwich with spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red wine vinegar on an Arnold Select 100% whole wheat sandwich thin. I love those things! They are perfect for sandwiches and burgers, or even toast! And they’re only 100 calories! Amazing! I also started to eat a Chobani non-fat blueberry greek yogurt, which lasted me the whole afternoon. It was really good. I can’t wait to try other flavors. I don’t like regular yogurt but I think I could make a habit out of eating greek yogurt.

When I got home from work, I had a snack of about 7-8 Popchips. I picked up the salt and pepper ones and honestly don’t like them as much as the originals. I’ll have to try some other flavors. For dinner, I had a VEGGIE BURGER on another whole wheat Arnold Select sandwich thin with lettuce, tomatoes, and a small amount of ketchup. On the side, I had steamed spinach, boiled carrots, and blueberries. Yum!!
