Hey guys! Have you ever had a day that seemed to drag on forever and then was just all of the sudden gone? That was today for me. This morning crept by and now it’s 8:30 already. I have no idea where the day went!
I’m having a problem and maybe you guys can help me! I am very dehydrated. My mouth is dry and my throat is scratchy but I’m drinking tons of water. I don’t know what is causing it. Any advice? Jeff suggested that maybe it’s due to my lack of sleep the past few nights. What do you think?
Let’s move on to my fantastic breakfast this morning

- Kashi Creamy Vanilla Hot Cereal
- 1/2 Banana
- Blueberries
Yum! This wonderful bowl kept me full until around 11:30. I munched on Mary’s Gone Chipotle Tomato Sticks & Twigs before lunch

Lunch wasn’t took long after this because my boss asked me to go early. I waited on a huge line at Subway and finally ordered my usual
The guy at the counter cut the 6″ in half which I thought was extremely odd. It was like eating two mini sandwiches.
After lunch, I grabbed a Grande Sugar Free Vanilla Iced Coffee with Skim Milk from Starbucks

I considered that coffee may be the cause for my dehydration but find it unlikely because when it comes to my water to coffee ratio for the day, water wins by a landslide!
This snack/lunch/coffee combination kept me full till 3:30. At that time, I pulled out this container o fruit

- Blueberries
- Pineapple
- Cherries
My mom got the fruit from Stew Leonard’s the pineapple and cherries are seriously the best I’ve ever had! The are so juicy and sweet! I got cherry juice all over my hand and my boss thought it was blood!
After work, I headed to the gym for 3o minutes on the crossramp elliptical (3 miles) and 20 minutes power/incline walking on the treadmill (1 mile).
I was dreaming up my dinner as I drove back to my parent’s house and knew it would include this

I also chopped up a piece of chipotle pepper chicken from last night, made some zucchini and peas, mixed it all together and got this lovely bowl of deliciousness

My mom made a gorgeous salad

Which, of course, I had a bowl of topped with balsamic vinegar

And this yummy bowl of cherries and dark chocolate rounded out my night

Thirsty? I’d definitely blame it on sleep, and maybe those chips you had (they’re usually high in sodium, even though, I agree, they taste great!) Hope you can quench it soon
I would assume it’s either lack of sleep, or more salt in your diet – or have you been sweating extra during workouts perhaps? Or have you been outside more often?
OMG! Totally have the same problem! My mouth is super dry and it sounds like I was out boozing the night before when I talk! I don’t necessarily feel thirsty, but I’ve been drinking a ton of water to compensate for the dry mouth! Gah! What could it be???
