Good Afternoon! I hope everybody is having a great Saturday!! Jeff and I woke up bright and early to go to the Saratoga Farmer’s Market this morning. I rolled out of bed at around 8:00 and knew I was going to be out for most of the day so I had a big breakfast to keep me energized

- English Muffin with PB & Blueberry Fruit Spread
- 1/2 serving of Kashi Island Vanilla Cereal topped with 1 spoonful of plain Oikos Yogurt, Cherries, and blueberries
- Iced Coffee
The Farmer’s Market we went to is held in the small, touristy town of Saratoga Springs. The town is an upscale vacation destination for people who live in NYC and is filled with tons of cute shops and cafes. It is about 35 minutes north of Albany.

Jeff and I got there around 10:00 and after scoping out all of the local produce, we probably spent way too much money!

When we were done at the Farmer’s Market, we wandered into town to walk around.

I got a little hungry at around 11:00 and pulled out the snacks I packed for the day

I ate half the Luna Bar and it held me over until lunch. We also stopped by Saratoga Coffee Traders and I ordered a small French Vanilla Iced Coffee with skim milk

We browsed through some amazing stores, including the Saratoga Salsa and Spice Company and the Putnam Market.
Later on, I ended up getting lunch from the market too. I ordered 1/2 of the Big Red Sandwich in a Whole Wheat Wrap

The wrap was filled with Roasted Red Peppers, Swiss Cheese, Hummus, Tomatoes, and Lettuce. It also came with a pickle. It was very good. I’m glad I ordered a half wrap though because a whole one would have been way too big for me. While I ate this, Jeff snacked on the Apple Pie Larabar. I tried it and really liked it! I guess the coconut flavor just wasn’t for me. I also bought a square of 75% Dark Chocolate for dessert

And drank this with my wrap

I think Hint Water is becoming a Saratoga thing for me. Last time I got the Honeydew Hibiscus Flavor. This time, I tried the Pomegranate Tangerine. Both were yummy but I think today’s wins.
We left Saratoga at around 3:00. Here’s the damage:

Farmer’s Market Purchases:
- Grape Tomatoes
- Blueberries
- Green Beans
- Zucchini
- Saratoga Peanut Butter Co. Blizzard Butter (White Chocolate PB- YUM)
- Crunchy Bluenana Bread (Blueberry/Banana Bread)

- Pane Bello Italian Bread
- Fresh Apple Cider (not pictured because Jeff drank all of it!)

Saratoga Salsa and Spice Company Purchases

Great Success!!

wow…love the pics of all your healthy goodies. I read your previous post about the the pizza recipe. I tried it last week and it was soo good. I made BBQ shrimp pizza. Anyway, nice blog.
ooo all those pictures make me want to get my run in super early tomorrow so I can stop at the farmers market! or maybe re-map so I finish up at the farmers market
I’m glad you liked the Apple Pie Larabar…it’s just a more hearty tast I think than the coconut, etc!
All your food looks so good, especially that wrap! And oh my that farmers market!!! You are a lucky girl to have that close by, although you are right it’d be hard to control your spending!!!!
