Hey Guys. I’m pretty bummed about something so this post is going to be super quick and them I’m heading to bed.

I did some yoga and a strength workout earlier.  I also went for a walk with my brother and future sister-in law

I grabbed some trail mix on the way out the door

Dinner was quick and easy

I heated some Amy’s Black Bean Vegetable and crumbed blue corn chips into it. YUM!

I also made a huge salad

With Sundried Tomato Hummus and Hot Sauce on top.

And all together

I didn’t eat all of the soup but I devoured most of the salad.

I had a piece of an Alternative Baking Company Cookie for dessert along with a Plum

Sorry for the lame post tonight. I’m really not feeling great. :-(

What do you do when you’re feeling bummed to feel better?

Advice would be great!

Have a great night!

  • sorry you’re not feeling so happy….i watch my thoughts during this time – it’s fine to take it easy on yourself, but make sure you’re not being negative to yourself.

  • Awww, sorry you aren’t having a good night. Not sure if you mean physically or emotionally… I assume mentally..?..

It’s hard to say what you need right now since I don’t know why you aren’t feeling so hot, but I think no matter what it always helps to take stock of what things you are thankful to have in your life – even when things are going terribly, there always seem to be things to be grateful for.

Without even knowing you “personally” (although I feel like I do!), I can tell that these are things you have to be thankful for:
    1) A great sense of humor
    2) You are very dedicated, and this is evident by how motivated you are in terms of living a healthy lifestyle. Heck – you go to the gym sometimes TWICE a day and got up at 5am to go to pilates, you crazy woman you!!
    3) You have a much-loved blog
    4) It sounds like you are super excited about your new major and upcoming classes
    5) You are obviously a very kind person and its clear that you care about the people in your life very much
    6) You are fun-loving – as an enthusiastic person myself, I LOVE this! I dig the positive energy willingness to try new things!

Hope you feel better soon! :)

  • So sorry your feeling bummed out! Hopefully, whatever your feeling bad about will get better today? There are lots of different things I do when I’m down in the dumps, but mostly I go for a long run , bike ride or take myself to my favorite yoga class.

  • Sorry you had a poopy time yesterday. I’m glad you were able to get in strength, yoga and a walk. I hope today is much better!

  • Hey sweets, I am so sorry you are bummed. We all have those days though–ups and downs. I definitely love the UP days the best! However, I also have down days and what I do to cheer me up is try to write a list of what I am grateful for that day. If that does not work, I usually go to bed and wake up refreshed and renewed to start over and conquer the day.

  • Aww, hope you’re feeling better today! Looks like you got a ton of things accomplished yesterday and today is a brand new day :

Usually when I’m down (which, coincidentally, I was yesterday) I end up cooking to distract myself or I curl up with a book to get lost in. I also try to remind myself that things could be much worse and that I should focus on the positive. Totally easier said than done, but sometimes it helps! :\

  • I hope you feel better! I always take a nap and hang with my dog when I’m down. Or take a run!

  • I hope everything is okay!

Talk to a friend or family member, take a hot bath, read a book you love, take a walk – those all usually help me a little

  • Doing things you enjoy doing that also relax you is my advice. Reading a good book, zoning out in front of a good TV show..mindlessly reading blogs…something that takes your mind off your troubles. I hope everything is okay, e-mail me if you need to! :)

  • Food n Fitness

I’m sorry your bummed! :( We all have days like that and need to just take some time to cool off and relax, I hope you feel better!
Lately if I’m feeling down or just having a bad day I go workout or do something active–always seems to help a bit.

  • Aww kiddo I’m sorry, I hope everything works itself out. Chocolate is a natural pick me up! Don’t forget it! ;)

  • Sorry you’re not having a great day – hang in there, though. Things can only go up from here, right?

  • Feel better! When I’m bummed I like to distract myself with a fun book, movie, or friends. Journaling and working out can be very therapeutic too!

  • Mmmm that huge salad looks amazing!

  • Thank you all so much!! <3 <3 <3

  • Sometimes just nothing helps:(. But I’m glad to hear you feel better now! Hug!
