I'm Short But I'm Healthy-Yeah!

I’ve got one hand in my pocket and the other one is giving a high five.. What..? Don’t you just randomly burst into song in your blog posts? I guess I’m a weirdo.

I overslept this morning. My alarm went off at 6 and I said NO and thought I reset it for 6:30 but failed. It was all that blog reading late last night! Luckily, I woke up on my own at 6:44. I have to be at work at 8 so I still had enough time for this:

I can’t wait till his jar is gone so I can have oats in a jar again!

Since I was rushed this morning, I didn’t have time to pack lunch. I threw some snacks in a bag and ran out the door! I didn’t need morning snacks though because that amazing bowl of oats kept me full until lunch. I wasn’t even that hungry when I headed over to Subway but I knew I should eat something. I ordered the same thing I’ve been ordering the past few times:  6″ Veggie minus the onions and olives on 9 Grain Honey Oat with Red Wine Vinegar

I grabbed a Grande Unsweetened Iced Green Tea from Starbucks on my way back to the office

I did have some trail mix in the middle of the day but that was my only snack while at work and didn’t have a camera close by.

After work, I headed to the gym but stopped at a local bagel place for some afternoon life iced coffee with skim milk first

At the gym I did 30 minutes on the crossramp and 25 minutes running (mostly)/walking on the treadmill. I am trying to ease myself into running outside by running on the treadmill at the gym. I was actually craving a good run today and was able to run a lot longer than I thought I’d be able to. Hopefully I’ll be running outside soon like the rest of you awesome runners! I’m a little bit scared. I’m used to the elliptical and spinning. I am so inspired by runners though, it’s insane!

After my workout, I devoured one of the Luna Bars that Clif sent me.

This was my first time trying this flavor. I didn’t like it at first but then it grew on me. I’d definitely buy it again. I kept checking in the mirror to make sure the berries weren’t turning my mouth blue. There were so many of them!

After the gym, I headed home to make a Veggie Pizza on a pre-made whole wheat crust my mom got at Trader Joe’s.
