I'm Getting Married…

I think I’m getting married…..

… to Sweet Potato Fries with Mango Chutney Dip.  You’re all invited to the wedding. I don’t mind sharing the love.

Speaking of getting married, I went wedding dress shopping with my future sister-in-law, Angela, today. She found a gorgeous dress which I can’t post on the blog because my brother will see. Look at her stuffing her face at dinner afterward

We went to a cute cafe called Potato Republic

I love the atmosphere at this restaurant. They have big. comfy chairs at the tables

We got a double order of the Sweet Potato Fries. This cafe is awesome because they have a laundry list of different dips to choose from for the fries. We chose Mango Chutney and Honey Dijon Mustard. I also ordered a Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato Wrap

The whole wheat wrap came stuffed with pesto and greens. I ate half along with a butt-load of the fries. We still have leftovers too!  We got ice cream after from my favorite ice cream place, Hoyer’s.  Here’s a recycled pic of the small pistachio/strawberry twist cone I ordered:

I didn’t eat the whole cone because I was full from dinner but it was still amazing.

Luna Bar from Clif

I liked the Luna Bar but the chocolate coating really hurt my teeth. I have really sensitive teeth and anything sweet really messes with them. I don’t think I’ll be buying this flavor just because it hurt my teeth. The flavor was awesome though!

We both ordered the Buddha Teriyaki Bowl

Here’s the description from the menu:

Edamame, Carrots, Yellow Squash, Zucchini, Broccoli and Red Peppers tossed in our Teriyaki Sauce. Served with a Vegetable Spring Roll

I got the sauce on the side and gave my Spring Roll to Dara. The dish came with brown rice and I ate some of that but I basically just ate a huge plate of veggies. YUM!

After dinner, we stopped by TCBY and I got a small cup of white chocolate mousse

Dara helped a little but I ate most of it.
