Thank you so much for all of the amazing comments on my last post! I’m feeling a lot better tonight. I’m glad you guys enjoyed the picture of the random chair in the bathroom yesterday. It was so crazy!
I was still feeling pretty sick during the day today so my pictures aren’t really 100% but I hope they will suffice!
I slept in this morning and made a warm bowl of banana oats for breakfast.

Nothing fancy on top. Just Almond Butter and Raspberry-Peach Preserves.

I got a nice surprise in the mail today from the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program

Mmmm bread! I put the Whole Wheat in the freezer and toasted a slice of the 12 Grain to have with lunch.

I topped my toast with WF Blueberry Fruit Spread. It was tasty. I also had the rest of the Wolfgang Puck Organic Thick Country Vegetable Soup from last night.

I love this soup!
I had the last of the Newman’s Own Organics Espresso Dark Chocolate for dessert

So good!
My afternoon snack looked like this:

I didn’t want soup again tonight so Jeff and I went to a local diner for dinner. I couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat and ended up ordering something that I really didn’t want at all: Challah French Toast

Don’t get me wrong, I love french toast but I just wasn’t in the mood for it. Especially since the first ingredient in that syrup is corn syrup followed by high fructose corn syrup. Yuck! I spread the tiniest bit ever on one of the pieces. I wish diners had healthier options.

I couldn’t even eat a whole piece. Ugh. I did, however, have Jeff’s pickle and one of his onion rings.
When we got home, I cuddled up on the couch to watch How I Met Your Mother with a small bowl of Edy’s Slow Churned French Silk and two Newman’s Own Organics Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Well, I’m off to bed. I have a LONG day tomorrow: 3 classes and then work from 6-10. I really hope I feel better otherwise it’s not going to be a good day at all. I’m not going back to the gym until I feel 100% better.
Question of the day:
What is your favorite kind of soup?
Have a great Tuesday!

As I type this, I am eating soup for breakfast haha. I feel like I need my veggies and the warmth helps my throat
Feel better soon Rebecca!
I’m glad you’re feeling better!
I love any kind of homemade soup. They’re just so good!
Tomato soup, for sure.
Hope you feel better soon!
I love diners for the variety of food but I always have to ask the waiter to modify it for me.
Glad you are starting to feel better. Being sick especially for an extended period of time is no fun. Just remember to keep getting rest so that you don’t get sick again.
I love Roasted Corn and Red Pepper Soup from Trader Joes if I’m going to buy it. It just has a sweet enough kick from the corn and a nice smokey flavor as well. And I like to drink it becuase it is so smooth. Especially on sick or cold days. If I’m making it I like chicken, sweet potato, and corn soup. It cooks in the crock pot all day and smells divine. I just finished up my left overs yesterday
I’m sorry you’re still not feeling well
I like homemade split pea soup. V8 makes some really great soups too!
I do love French toast, but usually only when I make it and when I can have real maple syrup.
Hope you’re feeling better
