Hiya! I almost feel better.. almost! I have a lot of fun pictures to share with you guys today so text is going to be minimal.
I had an assignment for my Literary Journalism class to do a cafe study (amazing!!) so I basically spent the whole day in a local cafe writing about it. Are you jealous? I found it humorous that the people working there knew I was doing a story for journalism and probably thought I was taking pictures for my class.
Silly Cafe Employees! Pictures are for blogs!
For breakfast this morning, my bowl of oats decided to pose on an Ikea Catalog

I think it’s trying to tell me something.

Trip to Ikea, anyone?
My oats contained:
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup vanilla soy milk
- 1/4 cup chocolate almond breeze
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 smashed banana
- spoon of flax
- 1/8 tsp of cinnamon
- A couple chocolate chips (added after picture was taken)
Lunch started with a slice of Nature’s Pride 12-Grain bread, an egg, some reduced fat cheddar, and a hole:

Flip

Plate (with black pepper and Frank’s Red Hot)

VOLCANO

And a cup of Green Tea

Then it was off to Uncommon Grounds

More Green Tea

They had HEART THRIVE COOKIES!!

I’ve been looking for these everywhere!

Yum! (The other one is for tomorrow)
Work, Work, Work, Amazing Bagel Sandwich for dinner

Veggies with a Schemer of Hummus on a toasted Sundried Tomato Bagel

Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumbers, Peppers, Onions, Sprouts, Roasted Red Peppers, OMG *Explodes*

This could possibly be the best bagel sandwich I’ve ever had. And you know what the best part is? I saved a half for lunch tomorrow! YAYYYYYY
And to drink?

Iced Irish Breakfast Tea. It was just a tea kind of day!
When I got home, I wanted something chocolatey for dessert

With a scoop of Edy’s Slow Churned French Silk on top

The End.
Have an amazing Thursday!

Haha, this coffee shop looks familiar — I graduated from UA and I have definitely spent some time at Uncommon Grounds
Cute blog!
Cafe days are so fun. I used to love hanging out in the local one when I was in college just to do homework and drink tea all day. I miss those days.
BTW I love your frog in a hole. I used to eat them because you already have the toast and egg together. Perfect match!
what a fun project! That cafe looks super cute.
I think today will be a hot tea day for me, too. I’m cold in the house! Brr..
The new camera takes great pics!
Love that blog and that has to be an awesome assignment!!
That bagel sandwich looks awesome!!!
LOL, pics are blogs! True dat!
OMG I’m freaking drooling over that bagel sandwich practically BURSTING with vegetables – thank you for the money shot. I think I need a cigarette now.
