Hey Guys! Sorry I didn’t post last night. Jeff and I needed some us time. If you get a chance, check out the video I posted last night because it’s truly amazing.
Since I am covering all of yesterday and part of today in this post, it’s going to be mainly a picture post. I will, however, point out the highlights in between.
Here we go:
Yesterday morning started with some fuel

Nature's Pride 12-Grain Bread with Raspberry-Peach Champagne Jam
and 20 sweaty minutes with Jillian and the 30 Day Shred.
Followed by….

1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup vanilla soy milk, 1/4 cup chocolate almond breeze, 1 banana, 1/8 tsp cinnamon, flax
Topped with

I'm out of PB and have a jar coming in the mail. This packet saved my life
and Chocolate Chips.
The day was spent crossing items off of a long to-do list and eating hummus

and Food Should Taste Good Multigrain Chips

Best. Combo. Ever.
Jeff and I decided to have lunch a new burger place that opened very close to our apartment

H2O
Juicy Burgers & More is a small chain which offers great quality burgers, salads, and soups. The burgers are fresh and made from ground sirloin and chuck beef. They are cooked in a 1800 degree oven-fired broiler so the fat drips off and they are nice and juicy inside.
Bottom line: This place was awesome.
I decided to splurge and ordered a regular hamburger with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and a pickle. The burger was just the right size: 1/3 lb and came on the best bun I’ve ever tasted

Totally worth the splurge! I won’t making going here a habit but it’s definitely a nice treat once in a while. The burger was so juicy, I didn’t even put ketchup on it. I know the it looks huge in this picture but it’s only because they piled it high with veggies. The best part about this place was that I didn’t get a grease stomach ache like I normally do when I splurge on burgers because they aren’t fried. Amazing!!
After lunch, we hit up Barnes & Noble to do school work in the cafe. I sipped on this:

Tall coffee with 1 pump of vanilla and skim milk
Work, Work, Work, Shopping, Home, Dinner

Eating Well Sloppy Joes! Recipe here

Green Beans
Too much Sriracha + No Vinegar = Fun Topping

These babies were hot

A lot of the mix slid off and I didn't eat the extras
CHOCOLATE

I don’t really like milk chocolate that much. I’d rather have dark chocolate. I think I’ll let Jeff finish this bar.
This morning, I slept late! I opened my eyes to see that it was 8:50! I immediately got up and ready for the gym.
Fuel:

12 Grain Toast with Justin's Honey PB on top
At the gym, I did 6 miles on the crossramp while watching One Tree Hill (love this show!). Not bad for my first time back to the gym in a week.
When I got home, I pulled my Banana Nut Bagel out of the freezer. I bought it earlier in the week when I was doing my Cafe Study at Uncommon Grounds. Since I was out of PB when I bought it and a banana nut bagel obviously needs PB, I decided to freeze it until I had some
Enter Justin’s Organic Honey PB, again

And Sliced Banana

OMG! I’m going to kiss whoever came up with this combo for a bagel! All the flavors were wonderful! I only ate 1/2 so I have the other half for another glorious breakfast sometime next week! YAY!
And that concludes my recap! Sorry for the lonnng post. I’m off to read all of your wonderful blogs (finally! Sorry I’ve been slacking).
Tonight, Jeff and I are going to dinner at Albany Pump Station for our friends, Jess and Erica’s birthday (they’re twins!) We were supposed to go to the Apple Festival with them today but the weather is yucky. Jeff and I are going to go tomorrow instead.
Until tonight, dear bloggies!
Have a great day!!
Update: It’s 11:18pm and I’m pooped! Had a long, FUN day. We did end up going to the Apple Fest (the weather cleared up) and the Pump Station! Too much hard pear cider for me! I’ll be back tomorrow with a recap and tons of pictures!!!! <3

Those oats look like the yummiest oats I have EVER seen! I am totally going to try and replicate them this week
Jolene,
If you’re going to make the same bowl, make sure to add 1/4 cup water to the liquid portion as well. I forgot to add that!
They are so yummy!
That burger looks awesome! I love studying in a coffee shop
Craving for some Sabra Hummus. Off to Costco to get a gigantic tub. Have a great weekend.
Mmm that burger place sounds great! I’ll have to check it out sometime!
The food looks great!
I love the combo of peanut butter and bananas…. it’s one of my favorites =)
Also, I read that you’re in Albany. I grew up in Upstate NY so I know all about Albany =D
Great blog you’ve got here…. I’ll stop back to catch up with all your posts soon!

Thanks Allison! My boyfriend and I moved to Albany from downstate NY in January! We’re still getting to know the area so any recommendations for restaurants and things like that would be greatly appreciated!
I’m a banana nut? Thanks!
But I’d rather be that AMAZING burger you had. Oh my god!
Can’t wait for you recap on the Apple Fest tomorrow…
What a tasty weekend – those oats, banana nut bagel (HELLO?! Loves!), and hummus? Delish!
Can’t wait to hear about the apple fest
I love those little packs. That’s how I tried Almond Butter for the first time and fell in love. I didn’t want to buy a whole jar and hate it (who could hate AB?).
Looks like you got a lot done.
