I am. I promise.
My very busy week didn’t exactly end on Tuesday. I still had a bunch of other things to do the rest of the week, including getting ready for our Halloween Party tomorrow night. (I can’t wait!)
I’m sorry I haven’t been posting as regularly as I used to. I promise to get back on track very soon!
Because I was really busy this week, Jeff and I ended up eating out A LOT. I went to Uncommon Grounds twice for breakfast (toasted bagel with PB). Since our decisions for what to eat were pretty much last minute, I didn’t have my camera most of the time. I did take some pictures of what I ate at home. So here are the highlights:
I had a lovely plate of whole wheat pasta for dinner on Wednesday night (cheap and easy)

I love squiggly pasta. It’s so much more fun to eat!
Then I had a tower for dessert

Newman's Own Organics Chocolate Newman-O's
The only thing I photographed yesterday was dinner.

Two tacos with tomatoes, hot sauce, and a tiny bit of cheese
And, of course, dessert

Edy's Slow Churned Fudge Tracks
This morning, I planned to go to the gym but decided to save time and do level 1 of the 30 day shred instead. I LOVE that workout! As Jillian would say: it’s so simple yet verrrrryy effective.
Since I got a late start this morning, I had breakfast brunch at 12

Banana Oats with Chocolate Chips and PB
These weren’t that amazing today! I think it’s because I cut down my soy/almond milk combo.
I’ve been running around cleaning my apartment all day. I have to call my job at 4 to see if they need me to come in and if they don’t, more cleaning for me!
I just made the best sandwich ever for lunch

What’s inside:
- Sliced Tomato
- Shredded Mozzarella
- Basil
- Garlic
- Black Pepper
I topped two pieces of WW Bread with the ingredients and put it under the broiler for 2 minutes

Amazing!
And for dessert?

2 mini reese’s out of the bag of candy that I’m supposed to be saving for tomorrow’s party (shh- don’t tell anyone!)
And that’s been my life for the past couple days! Now, I’m going to continue cleaning and maybe go to work. My friend Dara and her boyfriend, Ian, are coming up early tomorrow to help get things ready for the party. They’ll be here around 2. I’ll try to post before then and don’t worry, I’ll have plenty of pictures from the party to show you guys! Hopefully, I won’t drop and break my camera this time!
Anyway, until later!!!
How do you handle very busy weeks and blogging?
Have a great Friday!!
Update: No work tonight!! YAYYYY!
Oh, and

Hang in there!!
Blogging becomes my sort of escape on busy weeks.
i like the fudge tracks and choc chips
My life is a litte easier when it comes to blogging because I’m not a food blogger. I like to post about healthy living so I can write posts ahead of time for when I know I’m going to be super busy.
But hang in there. You’ll fit it all in.
Aren’t those Newman Organic cookies amazing!
MMM….tacos look great! Have a great Halloween Party, I went to one last night, can’t believe its already that time of the year again!
That sandwich does sound amazing!! Hope your Halloween Party went well!! When I’m busy blogging definitely takes a back seat!
Don’t feel guilty about not posting. Everyone understands
