I FAILED at waking up this morning. I had my alarm set for 5:45 and I slept until 7:30 instead. I have work from 9-1 today so I guess my workout is going to have to wait until after. Oh well, I guess I needed the sleep.
On to more important things…
Like this oatmeal:

1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup light chocolate soy milk, 1/2 cup water, 1 sliced banana, 1/4 tsp cinnamon
We should write a song about oatmeal.

PB&Co Cinnamon Raisin Swirl PB on top
I’m not kidding. I’m going to be famous singing songs about oatmeal and you are going to be sad that you didn’t take me seriously.
In other news, take a look at this:

I really need to thank Evan from Food Makes Fun Fuel for reminding me that chicken sausage can be used as a breakfast food. In this case, I used it for lunch but in my mind every meal is breakfast. I also need to thank him for telling me that Blueberry Chicken Sausage exists. BLUEBERRY! I need it!!
Anyway, back to that gorgeous sandwich up there. I used 1 link of Sundried Tomato Chicken Sausage, a egg, and a bit of grated Cabot Reduced Fat Cheddar. I let it all mingle together for a couple minutes in a 10 inch frying pan and then plopped it on top of a WW English Muffin. TAKE THAT MCDONALD’S! I win, you lose!
Seriously, Is there a petition somewhere to shut down all of the Mcdonald’s in the world? If there is, I want to sign it over and over again until my hand falls off. Would you sign a petition to close McDonald’s? Morgan Spurlock probably would.
On another note…
ACTION SHOT

Ahh ok, this post is getting ridiculous and I have to leave for work in 20 minutes. Blogging makes me ridiculous!
Speaking of work, since I was at worked from 6-10 last night, I brought dinner with me.
I need to ask The Fitnessista if it’s legal to have a Breakfast Cookie for dinner

It’s not that pretty because I made it to go. It contained 1/3 cup oats, 1/8 cup light chocolate soy milk, Tbsp of Cinnamon Swirl PB, 1/2 banana, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and a drizzle of agave. I think the the people at work thought I was crazy or eating baby food or something.
I was still hungry when I got home so I devoured this

Toast with MORE PB&Co Cinnamon Swirl PB!
I forgot to mention somewhere in this crazy post that I also did level one of the 30 day shred, I ate a million Newman’s Own Organics protein mini pretzels, and FSTG Sweet Potato chips with Sabra hummus for a snack.
INTERMISSION
*silly elevator music plays*
I’m back! Hello from 2:00pm! I realized that if I tried to finish this post this morning, I would be late for work. SO I grabbed a waffle sandwich…

Kashi Blueberry Waffles with Banana and PB
…and ran out the door.
Jeff and I are about to head to Barnes and Noble to do some work in the cafe. I think we may go to a diner for lunch first. Mmmmm diner.
My MOMMY is coming up tomorrow!! My father is coming up too but I think everyone is always more excited to see their mommy, right? Come on! It’s your mommy!
I’d like to take a moment to link to two very awesome bloggers.
- Erin from Care to Eat
- Mel from She Runs Brooklyn
I read these girls’ blogs religiously and they have such awesome personalities! I’d love to meet them both.
Well, I’m off! That’s all I have for you. Why are you still reading this? I’m done.
Have a great day blogfaces!

it’s more than legal.. it’s encouraged
Hehe, you showed McDonalds with that one! I was just thinking yesterday how much I could have gone for oatmeal with a spicy, breakfast sausage. Alas, I don’t keep those in stock.
I love the idea of adding chocolate milk to oatmeal! yum!
I wouldn’t sign the petition… I just choose not to go there!
The PB & chocolate combo is the best! It sounds like you definitely needed the extra sleep, so don’t feel bad about it
I haven’t had McDonalds (not even a fry) in about 8 years – so I would definitely sign that petition!!!!
Jolene, that’s so great! I haven’t had fast food (mcdonald’s, wendy’s, burger king) in a little more than 3 years. It’s just not worth it.
Hey…I like McDonalds! Lol, I like their ice-cream cone. But the rest of their stuff is kind of pathetic…
Becca, thank you so much for the shoutout
Rock on!
And oatmeal for dinner is totally legal. It’s a recession meal for me when it’s one of those nights haha.
Oh my gosh, you are too funny! And what a great idea to use choco soy milk in your oats- I need to try that!
I’m with ya on the Mickey D’s… watching Super Size me kinda made me sick haha although I know someone who ate McDonald’s WHILE watching it.
Happy Halloween!
