Where to begin, Where to begin.
Maybe with this:
Because he is obviously my new boyfriend. I bet Jeff’s parents didn’t realize that they were providing me with with an army of sexy men to cheat on Jeff with when they gave me this gift.
Mmmmm my new boyfriends smell so lemony and taste so…..enough of this nonsense.
In other news, my banana oats ruled this morning.
Inside: 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup vanilla soy milk, 1/2 cup water, 2 generous shakes of cinnamon, splash of vanilla extract
On top: PB, crushed walnuts, dried cranberries, raisins, amazingness
Lunch looked gross…
…but tasted great. This was leftover mac&cheese and chicken marsala from last night. Followed by one of my boyfriends for dessert (see above).
After lunch, I decided it was time to unpack. Let me remind you that I’ve been at my parents’ house for more than two weeks now. My room looked like a bomb went off inside it so I cleaned…while dancing to Backstreet Boys songs…don’t be jealous.
My lunch (and boyfriend) didn’t quite fill me up enough so I had half a bagel with 1/2 a triangle of Laughing Cow French Onion Cheese on top.
Aren’t my mother’s plates amazing? Say yes.
One of my goals that I forgot to include in my previous post is to practice yoga A LOT more.
I love the library! I took out a million workout dvds since I’ve decided not to pay for a 1 month membership to the gym while I’m at my parents’ house. I liked this dvd a lot! It was quite the workout. I’m sure it’s not the best yoga dvd but it served its purpose. I plan to go to more yoga classes at my gym when I get back to Albany. I really want to try Bikram. I’ll have to see if I can find a class.
Dinner looked like this:
I met up with my friends, Dara and Danny, for dinner at a local diner. I love these two! I’ve known Dara since pre-school and Dara and I met Danny while taking a CPR class in 2004. We were all camp counselors at the same camp for two summers. We’re obviously ridiculous when we get together.
Since it was a cold, cold night, I ordered a Bowl of Chili which came out like this:
Seriously? Look at all of that cheese!!! UGH! Now, don’t get me wrong, I love cheese but that was way, wayyyyyyyy too much!
Here’s what it looked like with most of the cheese scraped off:
I ended up pushing even more off after I took the picture. It came with chips and salsa. Yum! This was the perfect dinner (once the cheese was gone). It warmed me right up!
After dinner, Dara, Danny and I said our goodbyes and I came home to this:
Reese’s DARK CHOCOLATE Peanut Butter Cups!!! WHAAAAAATTT!!!!?!?!!!?!!?!!!!!!
My mother is reading In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan and I felt like adding some irony to my post by placing my PB Cup right on top of the book for the picture. The book sounds very interesting, actually. I want to read it. Has anybody read it?
ANYWAY, back to the DARK CHOCOLATE Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. I had one tonight for dessert (saved the other one for tomorrow). Yes-it was amazing. Yes-you should try it. No-I didn’t like it more than Newman’s Own Organics Dark Chocolate PB Cups.
I have a dermatologist appointment in the morning and then I’m spending the day with Jeff (<3). Don’t tell him about the gingerbread men.
Have a great Wednesday! <3
Questions:
What’s your favorite type of yoga?
Favorite addition to oats?

Oh yeah, he’s hot. Hot enough to eat him up!
And no such thing as too much cheese! Pass the bowl over, I would slurp it up for you! Burp~
Those gingerbread men are adorable!! I’m just starting to get into yoga but I think I would like Bikram… (I live in my space heater right now- I like it hot!!)
Dinner looks like fun!! I love how chili warms you up on a cold day.
i dislike gingerbread… BUT i’d taste THAt one.
winkwink
I had a great time at the Diner.
I don’t think your lunch looks gross, I think it looks delicious.
P.S. I’m giving away a BUILT Neoprene Lunch Tote on my blog: http://lovinlosing.com/2010/01/05/giveaway-announcement/
I loved that book and I’m not even a big reader. It was just exactly what needs to be said on food, and it’s actually a quick and not really heavy read
