From BRANana Bread to Pizza Dough

Is it me or does bread taste ten times better when you make it yourself?

Instead of doing schoolwork on Wednesday, I procrastinated and made BRANana Bread. (My mother gave me the recipe but I found it online for you here)

I think I left it in the oven a couple minutes too long but it didn’t affect the taste. I left out the ground flax because I didn’t have any and I used low-fat plain yogurt because that’s what I had in my fridge.  Other than those two things, I followed the recipe word for word. It came out wonderfully.

I love it. Jeff loves it.  It is a much loved loaf of bread.

After I baked the masterpiece above (forgive my bragging- this is the first time I’ve made bread and I am very proud), Jeff made the most amazing pizza using dough that I made a couple weeks ago.

There were actually bubbles on it like you’d see on a pizza from a pizzeria. Jeff is the official pizza maker from now on.

His pizzas don’t look like an aliens.

We topped it with Tofurky Sundried Tomato “Sausage” slices, onion, garlic, and mozzarella.

So yummy.

My eats yesterday were pretty standard so I am going to fly through them:

2 Slices WW Toast with PB, Toasted Wheat Germ, and Shredded Unsweetened Coconut for breakfast

Annie's Mac & Cheese with Edamame on the side for dinner

Random snacks were mixed in throughout the day.

My breakfast rocked this morning:

I had 2 slices of whole wheat french toast (cut into triangles because they taste better that way). I dipped the slices into a mixture of almond milk, egg, cinnamon, vanilla stevia, toasted wheat germ,  and unsweetened shredded coconut. I added more coconut and cinnamon to the top and poured a tiny bit of pure maple syrup on the side. I didn’t even need the syrup because the french toast was so sweet. Yum! I had grapes on the side for good measure.

I did 30 awesome minutes of yoga this morning as the sun was coming up. Tonight, I’m headed 2 hours downstate to have dinner for my father’s birthday!! We are going here- don’t be jealous.

What food could you eat everyday and not get bored of?

Jeff could eat pizza everyday of his life and be happy with it. I like a variety so I would probably go crazy if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life.

Have a great Friday!
