Babies and BBQs

Four Words: Banana Blueberry Peach Oats

Enough said.

Today, my brother, Adam, threw a  poolside father’s day BBQ at his condo. My whole family attended and it was a really great way to spend father’s day.

I made sure to bring the necessities…

Sunglasses and a toy for my nephew, Nicholas.

Because obviously nalgene water bottles are made for babies. :-)

Sorry, I got a little carried away. Isn’t he adorable? OK- one more!

That’s it. I promise.

Anyway, I had a great time with my family today. We were rained on for about 20 minutes but then the weather cleared up and we had a beautiful day to relax by the pool.

I started the day off with a Sam Adams Summer Ale

Yum! I snacked on some almonds while my brothers worked on grilling.

Adam bought me veggie burgers for the BBQ.

It was really good. I need to look for this brand the next time I go food shopping. I loved the chili-bean flavor!

I had grilled corn on the cob and homemade potato salad on the side.

I don’t usually like potato salad but my brother’s version was awesome!

After lunch, we swam and lounged by the pool. Dessert was watermelon, blueberries, and baby hand.

I also had a small piece of  blueberry-raspberry struessel cake.

After the BBQ, I packed my stuff, and headed back to Albany. I love staying with my family but I’m glad to be back in my apartment with Jeff. I was still stuffed from the BBQ when I got home, so I had a bowl of cheerios with vanilla almond milk for dinner.

Twas a fun day and now I’m off to bed!

How did you celebrate father’s day?

Have a great Monday! <3

P.S. I know I said no more baby photos but here are a few  just for father’s day!

The end!
