Three words: Strawberry–Banana Oats:
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 sliced banana
- 1 cup Santa Cruz Organic Strawberry Lemonade
- 1/2 Tbsp of PB
This bowl of oats = Summer. Period.
The above was my breakfast yesterday morning. I apologize for not posting last night. It took me an hour and a half to do the dishes. AN HOUR AND A HALF! I don’t know how we let the dishes pile up so much, but we did. Jeff always does them, so I offered to last night. And then I promptly passed out in bed.
I also spent ALL of yesterday writing. I had a couple articles to get in by deadline and woke up super early to work on them. I tried to make up for being MIA with a giveaway. I hope that’s acceptable!
Anyway, let’s recap some of my eats over the past day or so.
We had tacos on Tuesday night made with a can of Eden Organic Cajun Rice & Beans, Onion, and Corn. I also went to Body Pump Tuesday night and it kicked my booty.

I met up with an old love for lunch on Tuesday:
Oh, Uncommon Grounds, I’ve missed you. You’re looking at a cinnamon raisin bagel with PB and a large unsweetened iced tea. Yum!
Kept it simple for lunch yesterday with a good ol’ PB & Raspberry Honey Sandwich with chips & salsa.
I tried to make dinner look pretty last night. I really did.
Don’t be fooled by this pic. My plate was 80% veggies (zucchini, summer squash, onions, garlic, peas) and 20% whole wheat & spinach spaghetti. I tried to mix it up to make it look pretty. Fail.
And right now, I’m sipping a green smoothie for breakfast.
In the mix:
- 1 Banana
- 2/3 cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk
- 2 Spoonfuls of Plain Chobani
- Tbsp of PB
- 1/4 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- Amazing Grass Goji & Acai Infusion Green SuperFood
- Ice Cubes
So Good! I also had a piece of WW Toast with PB.
Well, I’m off to catch up on google reader and run some errands. I’m out of fruits and veggies and that’s obviously not OK.
