I’m seriously obsessed with Twitter today. Here’s what my day has looked like so far:

  • Twitter
  • Body Pump
  • Twitter
  • The Hills
  • Twitter

I’m not exaggerating. In the past 24 hours, I’ve planned a blogger workout date with @JenMay_07 and a blogger potluck brunch with @ThenHeatherSaid— all through Twitter. I’m a Tweetaholic, what can I say? (Follow me!– shameless self-promotion!)

This post is coming through a little early since I am starting a new job tonight, and will be too tired to blog when I get home. I’m really not sure how I’m going to survive working past 12 when my bedtime is 9 p.m. But we’ll see. Wish me luck!

Today started with an almost-empty yogurt container of overnight oats.

Thankfully, it tasted more like cinnamon than cumin. Miss that kitchen mishap? Read about it here.

Overnight Oats:

  • 1/4 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • ~1/4 cup plain Chobani
  • Cinnamon (not cumin)
  • Splash of Vanilla Almond Milk (added in the morning)
  • Summer Fruit: Stawberries, Peaches, Blueberries (added in the morning)
  • Spoon of PB

Delicious!

I spontaneously decided to go to Body Pump this morning, even though my legs were still sore from Thursday’s class and my run yesterday. @AthleteWannabe talked me into it. (See what I mean about this Twitter thing?!) It was a tough class, but I got through it and felt awesome afterward. I’m glad I decided to go.

When I got home, I refueled with Coffee, Coconut Water, and PB-Smeared Whole Wheat Toast.

Lunch consisted of leftover megadarra from last night.

On a bed of romaine lettuce, topped with goat cheese.

I spent the afternoon lounging on my couch, watching The Hills on my laptop (don’t judge), and having a chip party.

And now, for no reason whatsoever, I’m going to show you a picture of my finger:

I cut it while chopping an onion last night. Go me! It’s a pretty bad cut, but I think I’ll survive.

Well, I’m off! I think a Sunshine Burger is in my future for dinner.

Two topics to discuss:

Are you a Tweetaholic? Or do you hate Twitter?

Tell me about the best part-time job you’ve ever had.

Have an awesome night! <3

  1. I go through spurts with Twitter. Some days I’ll be on all day and some days I don’t even log on.

Where do you go to Body Pump? I want to try it but there is none here in the berkshires.

  2. Oh man, I love twitter. I used to hate it, but now I am SO on that bandwagon.

I saw that you go to SUNY Albany!! I grew up just a bit north of Albany, so I definitely know the area. How are you liking it? Do you ever get up to Saratoga for the races?

PS – totally following you on twitter now. 😀

  3. Best part time job–working in the bread department at my local grocery store. Great people and LOTS of artisan breads. It was repetitive at times–slicing, stocking etc but it was such a wonderful experience. I learned so much about food too.

  4. best part time job was the one i left in dc. i miss prr so much! i think it’s partly due to the awesome coworkers and partly due to being surrounded by something i love…*big sigh* did i miss something?? what is this working til midnight, lady?!
