I may or may not have a mild addiction to the maple peanut butter I picked up at the farmers’ market on Saturday. The jar is already half empty (or half full!!) and I’m the only one eating it. I can’t help it. It tastes like fall, and I’m all about everything and anything fall related right now. It’s by far my favorite season of the year!
Have I ever mentioned that there is a peanut butter company in the area that is very similar to PB&Co? It’s called Saratoga Peanut Butter Company, and it’s the best place ever! Remember Mae? She worked there before she left for college, and I actually met her at a farmers’ market, where she sold me 4,972 jars of peanut butter. Saratoga PB Co. has all different kinds of PB and almond butter (including a dark chocolate cherry one that I almost fell over while trying on Saturday). The company ships all over the country, so definitely check out its website! (Note: Saratoga PB Co. did not ask me to write this review. I just love the PB and want you to love it, too!)
I have about a million pictures that express how much I love this peanut butter, but I’m not going to torture you with all of them. Instead, I’ll just leave you thinking about dark chocolate dipped in maple peanut butter and move on.
I had the best day yesterday! Not only did I get to have lunch with two wonderful bloggers, I got a class presentation out of the way, and discovered an awesome cafe, and the cutest cupcake bakery ever!
Yesterday, we tried to go to a Mexican restaurant, but discovered that it is closed on Tuesdays. Instead, I introduced Alicia and Emily to Scratch.
I was boring and got the same thing as last time: The Garden Veggie Sandwich.
It was beyond delicious, even though whoever made it forgot to put the avocado and cheddar on.
After devouring our lunches, dessert was obviously necessary, and I opted for a Vegan Spice Cookie and a large hot cinnamon spice tea.
If you’re following me on twitter, you know that I’m on a tea kick, and have decided to give up coffee for a week! This might be extremely difficult since I work at a coffee shop, but we’ll see. Yesterday, I had four cups of tea and it was glorious. I find then when i drink too much coffee, I get jittery and anxious. I also feel more tired during the day. So, it’s a CHALLENGE! Who wants to join me!?
After lunch, Emily took me to an awesome coffee shop near her house called Perfect Blend.
That, my friends, is a soy chamomile tea latte with honey and cinnamon. Most delicious combination EVER.
LOOK at this dessert case!
I didn’t get anything but I could have definitely eaten the whole thing.
Seriously? I want to live at this cafe.
We did school work for a couple hours, and then headed next door to check out an adorable cupcake bakery:
I can’t handle how cute it is.
I couldn’t decide which cupcake to buy, so I decided to wait until next time. Emily, however, bought three!
Tell me you don’t want to eat your computer screen.
Well, I’m off to class!
Questions of the day!
