Things I’ve Learned (Part Three)

As a college graduate, the question “So, what’s next?” comes up a lot in conversation.

My answer? I have no idea.  

I’ve learned that Amazon’s Universal Wish List Button is the best thing since sliced bread.

I’ve learned that it’s worth it to buy things that I read about on blogs…

I’ve learned that PB+Banana+Cinnamon will always be my go-to combination when my kitchen is empty.


I’ve learned that when you take a break from food blogging, you forget that pictures come before bites.

I’ve learned that Flatout wraps are awesome…


…and perfect for breakfast burritos.


I’ve learned realized that not only do I want to refrain from eating animals, I want to refrain from wearing them as well.

Vegan/Vegetarian winter boot suggestions anyone?

  1. I’m learning to make peace with my changing body. Pregnancy is teaching me to let go of some of my control issues. I’m so accustomed to being able to do physical things. I LOVE pushing myself. I get off on it. But the last couple months have taught me that I need to slow down a little and RELAX a little. I find myself getting frustrated with the fact that I can no longer button my favorite jeans, or that I had to run out to Victoria’s Secret to buy bigger bras, or that for Christmas I received maternity clothes and a BELLY BAND, but there’s a little person growing inside of me that needs some cushion … and while I refuse to let myself GO, I can’t berate myself over every pound gained.

    It’s an interesting time, my friend.
