Labor Day Healing: Part One

My Labor Day weekend was jam-packed with good food, friends, and family. How was yours?

I did a lot in between Friday and Monday. I want to cover it all, but I also don’t want this post to become a book. So, I’m going to split my weekend recap into two parts.

On Friday, I accomplished two major goals that I’ve been putting off for a long time! The first was cleaning my bathroom:

I hate cleaning, but my bathroom was beyond gross, and I knew I had to do something about it. I was super proud of myself for getting it out of the way before the long weekend.

My second goal had something to do with this:

I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to try Nutella. Following the suggestions of some of my Twitter friends, I dug right in with a spoon:

Oh. My. God. Seriously? I know I’m a little late to the game, but this stuff is addicting. I think I may have to hide it so I don’t eat it all in one day.

On Saturday, my parents and I ventured out to Montauk for the day.

I’ve been going to Montauk since I was little, and there’s seriously no other place like it.

Sitting on the rocks with my parents, and staring out at the ocean was the best possible therapy.

I think that in all of my years of picture taking, I’ve finally mastered the self portrait.

Enough of me, more of this:

I am a firm believer that nature heals.

What do you think?

This morning, I am heading to my good friend, Julianne’s house. Tonight, I am having dinner with another good friend. The healing continues!

Have a great Tuesday! <3
