I officially have a new house favorite lunch spot:

Sweetgreen

If you are ever in DC (I believe there are locations in Philly, too) go to Sweetgreen. It’s the best salad place around. Plus they have fro-yo. Can’t beat that with a stick.

Thanks to my mom, I know that as long as I can combine garlic and white wine into a pasta sauce, I’m doing pretty ok in life.

I will be 25 for exactly two more days, and on Thursday, I’m pretty sure I will finally experience my quarter-plus-one-year-life-crisis. Trust me, it’s coming.

At dinner over the weekend with a few friends, the waiter delivered a couple beers to our table and said he didn’t know who they were from. We were feeling pretty paranoid as we peered around around the restaurant and wondered who the heck sent them to us. Turns out, the people at the table next to us just wanted to pay it forward and treat a few strangers to a round of drinks. Pretty awesome, if you ask me.

All of my dress pants are at the dry cleaner. Planning fail. Let’s just say I’ve worn more dresses and skirts in the last week than I have the whole time I’ve worked in my current position (close to a year). Maybe I’ll remember to pick them up tomorrow.

Malls are dangerous places to visit on rainy days.

It’s Official: I’m in Love…

…with this:

If I had to choose one wine to drink for the rest of my life (isn’t that a horrible thought?), this would be it.

If I could marry a bottle of wine….I’d marry this one (as long as it continuously refilled itself, that is).

I usually prefer reds, but one sip of this white was all it took.

No exaggeration, this is one of the best wines I’ve ever had. Please find it and buy it. I promise you’ll love it. And if you don’t, pack it up and send the rest to me. I’ll drink it straight from the box, and take pictures to prove it.

OK- enough of that. Let’s look at this:

Yogurt Mess

That, my friends, is my new breakfast of choice. I usually throw it together when I realize that I’ve been up for two hours, and haven’t had breakfast yet. Then, I scarf it down when I look at the clock, and realize I have ten minutes before I need to leave for work. Don’t ask me why I procrastinate. I just do.

Anyway, you’re staring at a huge yogurt mess, comprised of:

  • 3/4 cup Fage 0% Yogurt
  • 1 Sliced Banana
  • 1/2 Cup of Whole Foods Vanilla Almond Granola
  • ~Tsp of Toasted Wheat Germ
  • ~Tsp of Shredded Unsweetened Coconut
  • Approximately 7 Dark Chocolate Chips (for good measure)

Wonder in a bowl, if you ask me.

And, one more thing before I go:

Blueberry Pie

Four words: Whole.Foods.Blueberry.Pie.
