On Tuesday, Heather, Cynthia, and I met at Bombers Burrito Bar in Schenectady for a small birthday/going away party. Jeff also came with our friends, Jess and Seth, but I’m going to leave their pictures out of this post. 🙂
I’m really going to miss my local blends (blog friends).
Heather and I decided that drinking margaritas together was necessary since it would be our last time seeing each other for a while.
Don’t worry- we had plenty of food to eat with our drinks. I ordered the BBQ Tofu burrito, which was filled with BBQ Tofu, rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Yum!
It was GINORMOUS. My plate ended up like this:
I decided to spill the contents of the burrito onto my plate and eat it without the tortilla. I devoured half and took the other half home. I had sweet potato fries on the side (they came with maple syrup!)
Cynthia brought cupcakes from Whole Foods for dessert!
I dug into the Peanut butter one before taking a picture. Oops! I had tastes of all of them, but my favorite was the one with the raspberries on top.
She also brought mini cupcakes, which we shared with the waitress:
Overall, we had a great time. I’m so glad I got to see Heather and Cynthia before my move, and that I was able have an early birthday celebration with them!
